Osborne Funeral Home also sponsors a team in the newly established Greenville Mens Softball League which plays on the fields of the Greenville Sports Complex and at Riverside Park.

Team manager and league president, Mike McCormick, has set his sights on bringing back the lights this year on Cooper Field at the park, in order to play under the lights like they did several years ago.

Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce

The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce serves the area as a great promotional tool for area business, of which we are a member.  In 2005, the Osborne Funeral Home golf team took home the annual "Chamber Cup", a four person, golf scramble held every year at the Greenville Country Club.

Within the Chamber's web site, you will find a great source for Recreational Activities in Greenville.

Greenville Rotary Club

Rotary International is the oldest service organization in the world.  The Greenville Rotary Club serves the Northern Mercer County area in many ways.  They support several youth programs, the Untited Way, Good Shepherd Center, GALSA, the Greenville Museums, the Salvation Army, and the Rotary Foundation...just to name a few.

The 2007-2008 Club officers are:
Past President:  Dr. Susan Calderbank
President: Bill Kirker
President Elect: Lynda Holm
Secretary: Patty McCluskey-Shonka
Treasurer: Steve Williams

Weekly meetings are held on Tuesdays at the Italian Home Club in Greenville at 12:10 PM.  The Greenville Rotary Club is a member of District 7280.

Greenville Attractions and Organizations

As an avid golfer, I am very excited about our newest public golf course.  The former Greenville Country Club was purchased by a private investor and turned public.  The restaurant has also been turned public and is now called the "Gallery Grille".  This is one of the nicest golf packages around, and you can visit their website at:
